Snow Day

There is something so magical about the first time it snows. Perfect, soft, white snow that hasn't had a chance to get dirty or piled up on the side of the road. It literally snowed all day long yesterday, and Hadley looked like she was walking through her own personal fairy tail while prancing through it all.

I think the real magic of all of it though is that I haven't had time to get cold and start complaining about it. Because, let's be honest, I'm a wimp. Go type in "wimp definition" and you will get a good idea of how I feel about being cold in the snow.

But at least for yesterday, during the constant stream of snow, the people in this house were happy, (sorta) warm, and enjoying the Christmas spirit starting to fill up around us.

Oh, and discovering that you can eat the snow was pretty life changing. Just ask this kid:
Oh the simple joys in life..
